Contact Focus on the Family, Falwell, Robertson, your local Rapture group, and your local RNC. Tell them how outraged you are that first Bush appoints Gonzales, a prochoice Attorney General, and now a gay man, Ken Mehlman, to head up the RNC and be the face of the Republican Party.

Remind them that Bush voters do not approve of the lack of moral clarity in these decisions.

Many of these "moral values" folk really won't get along in the long run. The bishops & priests who ignored 90% of Roman Catholic teaching to get on the anti-abortion bandwagon will go first--after all, they represent the Whore of Babylon, the Scarlet Woman.

The Bob Jones crowd considers most other Protestants pretty suspicious.

And the full-bore Christian Reconstructionists want to bring back slavery & abolish the Popish/Pagan holidays. Now, I think many of the congregation at Houston's First Baptist Church would have problems with that first item. But none of them want to cancel their annual Christmas Extravaganza. (Live camels in the sanctuary some years!)
