Have there been any wishlist pres. tickets for 2008 threads yet?
Or is it too early for people?

Anyway I just thought I'd get a concensus on what I think would be one I think should be as about as successful as possible.

Wesley Clark / Harold Ford

the return of an Arkansas/Tennessee ticket

I know that Ford has a bad stigma among a sizable portion of DU, but I think that having him as the vp nominee would INEVITABLY have a much larger affect on the dinamic of a presidential race than any vp in a longer time than I can remember, and for the positive. Some people say that a vp can't really help a candidate but they can hurt a candidate, well, I think that Ford could really help a candidate. It isn't just black people who would be really thrilled to have a black vice president finally, there are alot of people across the political spectrum of all races including white of course who really think it's time for something like that. And I do not think that the vote of someone who would be turned off by having a black man on the ticket is up for grabs for any democratic presidential candidate and not a lock for the republican

10. How About Winning Some House Seats In 2006
If this party doesn't turn things around in 2006 who cares who runs in '08.

I guess this place is still in major denial.

11. Do they think anyone will stand in line for ten hours to vote, again
the democratic leadership is in denial and man are they not going to get these numbers out for our side again. ( I have never seen so much solidarity on the left side of the aisle) How dare they not even demand recounts and then expect us to step up for them again!

People stood up for the Dems in a BIG way this time, the least they could have done was return the favor.

12. I'm sitting back, taking notes on their behavior
or lack of such......I'm focusing on getting the vote right for now as my primary goal. When we do that, we can then actually vote them in or out of the jobs they apply.

That includes both parties!

Its a Democracy Dream.......a perk of the past.....

We must have the vote, every vote count......if we don't it's a waste of time and money. It's delusional!

14. I don't disagree
I just don't see the harm in bullshitting about it as long as you stay focused on voting security at the same time.
