NAME-CHANGE AMNESTY: Change your username without penalty until Nov. 22

There are many DU members whose usernames became obsolete on election day. For example, if their usernames referred to John Kerry or any other Democratic candidate. If you have an obsolete username, you have the opportunity to change your username without penalty between now and Monday, November 22.

Members who change their usernames will not lose their post counts or donor stars. If you change your name, you will be automatically assigned a special red signature line which includes your former username.

You will have only one opportunity to change your name. Please don't screw it up, or else you're stuck with it.

We hope that most members will keep their current names, because too many new names will cause mass confusion. If you do not have an obsolete username then we hope you will choose not to change your name, but we are not going to stop you if you do.

I actually misspelled my own username while registering and didn't notice. It's not supposed to have an "e" in Awsi. I'll make that minor adjustment:)

9. I would never change my user name

It's supposed to be a reference to infinity. Changing my user name, in that regard, would make me pretty much a hypocrite, now wouldn't it? :shrug:

Hello to All those interested In Politics! Boy do I have a deal for all of you..! I have created a simulation where you can run for congress, senate, and even PRESIDENT!
