Air America is a start.

We need more. It's too much to try to get the CNNs and MSNBCs to cover real news right now.

If we can persuade the George Soros's of the world to help with this, great (or other liberal CEO types if that's not an oxymoron).

But we can't control what they do. Maybe some ordinary people like us have to do it, and start small.

Over 50 million of us voted for Kerry, and I'd say it's a safe guess that the huge majority of those, like me, have an INSATIABLE HUNGER for a news outlet not biased towards the Bush Administration. That's a HUGE HUGE market. Largely ignored by cable news and certainly by radio. I'd support something like that. Wouldn't you?

Thinking about this...

1. We also need to constantly talk about crappiness of media when we see it.

3. and who has the biggest interest in this?
The rest of the world.

How do we get BBC or Al-Jazeera or any other international media company to start buying up affiliate stations?

4. After the voter fraud issue, this has to be highest priority
We found out this year that almost nothing we do or say will affect the corporate-controlled media. We need our own.

5. I'm just a political pissant
And being the pissant I am, I have no say and no connections.

Were I not a pissant, I would grab the "Hollywood Liberals" by their collective genitalia and make then buy or start a network of, by, and for the progressive view.

Being the know-nothing pissant that I am, I speak with no authority whatever, but I should think such a network would be quite profitable. It would draw its viewership from fully half the country - the rich half, obviously, since **our** taxes subsidise the other half of the country.

But what do I know?

I'm just a political pissant.
