Terry Mc Auliffe looking for your feedback......link.
Dear XXXXXX

I want to thank you for everything you've done over the course of this campaign. Time and time again we asked for your help, and you were always there for us.

Even though we didn't win back the White House, you created something historic. Our grassroots campaign of hope and optimism was unprecedented in American politics. More than 1 million volunteers made 11 million person-to-person, door-to-door contacts, and made 38 million phone calls to voter in battleground states.

If you were involved in these grassroots activities, we want to hear from you about your experience. What did you do? Did you feel the action you took was effective? Was it a good experience for you? How would you make it better?

Tell us your thoughts.

http://www.democrats.org/feedback/

We plan to use your feedback to help develop our strategy in 2005. As always, you will continue to play a critical role in the future of the Democratic Party. What we created together will be the backbone for Democratic victories in the future.

You and I know that this fight is not over. We will never waver when it comes to defending our values and fighting for what we know is right.

Again, thank you for helping create something special.

Sincerely,

Terry McAuliffe
Chairman

1. Here's My Message To Them
In the last box -- "Tell us what you think" -- here's what I said:

"GET RID OF TERRY McAULIFFE AND THE DLC -- the try-to-be-like-Republicans strategies have been miserable failures.

"The new message and new leaders of the Democratic Party need Dean's pragmatism and fire, Obama's eloquence, Edwards' nerve, the blogosphere's speed, AirAmerica's sass, Bill Clinton's gregariousness -- and the reality that what happens to this country from this point forward is not only on the head of George W. Bush, but perhaps even more so on his cultural and political supporters as well.

"Nothing I have seen indicates Bush will be any more competent; if anything, it appears his arrogance and high-handedness will know no bounds. Only now he has no excuses and has a cadre of yes-men that includes the entire GOP and phony 'moral values' mongers like Focus on the Family and Grover Norquist.

"What we as Democrats must do is be ready, with true humility and ideas, to accept those who voted for Bush and the G.O.P. who will look with horror on what we all helped create (because by failing to win we are as complicit in the oncoming wreckage as Bush/GOP supporters), to not condemn them, and to be able to look in their eyes and as, "So how can we get out of this? Let's figure it out.""

2. Here's your "feedback", Terry...
Although it will probably not even be read, I made the main point of all my answers the fact that there was fraud, and it is not being investigated even though WE (the base) paid for the lawyers to do so with OUR money. Money that we will not be willing to contribute next time, since it was wasted.

4. Done
Although I doubt they wanted to hear what I had to say. It was not pretty. Pretty much what we've been talking about here. Maybe though, if they hear it often enough from all of us, maybe they'll pay attention, do you think????

7. Yep
I gave 'em an earful. Basically told them they were useless if they didn't go after the stealing.

Don't worry about the personal info, just put whtever info you want in the 'required' fields, they just need to be filled out with characters.

Blast at 'em people, lets bomb them. It will have an effect. I've seen it work a number of times in other cases. Do it!

5. I won't give those LOSERS my personal data
They are the ones that sabotaged the Dean campaign and ignored Dennis Kucinich, and they are the same ones that are now blaming GLBT activists for Kerry's loss.

Screw them!

6. Concentrate on taking back the House in '06
A little quick thumbnail math tells us that, by gaining 6 seats in Texas through gerrymandering, and only gaining 2 seats overall, it's a net loss in the vast sweep of things. (Correct me if I'm wrong; I'm not quite sure of the final numbers.)

Be vicious and deliberate: target individuals in vulnerable districts nationwide, and tar them as pro-torture, anti-worker, pro-conquest, anti-health, anti-environment, anti-child and pro-monarchy. Slam them with class warfare, and use the phrase so much that we own it.

EVERTHING that's the fault of this Administration is the fault of each Congressperson, and be as ugly as the right has been. Concentrate on places like Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Colorado.

Press the Supreme Court to re-examine the Texas redistricting, as they stated they plan to; bring class-action suits, if necessary.

Find and run candidates in unchallenged districts; there should be NONE that are giveaways.

8. Dear Terry, You and the DLC were not the reason for the
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 01:04 PM by WI_DEM
unprecedented grass roots campaign the Democrats experienced this year. No, Terry it happened in spite of you. First it is due to the deep animosity many of us have for George W. Bush and his policies, particularly on Iraq--you know the policies that many in the DLC supported? and second the grass roots got busy beginning in 2003 due to someone that you and the DLC went all out to prevent getting the nomination--Howard Dean. Despite his fiscally responsible record in Vermont it seems to me, Terry, that you and the DLC somehow got it in your mind that having Dean as the nominee would lead to another "McGovern" defeat, when in fact, unlike John Kerry's position on Iraq, the American people would have understood, clearly, where Dean stood. So Terry, my advise to you is to pack up and give the party leadership to someone else--your four years as head of the DNC have been disastrous.

Sincerely,

PUT THESE 10,000 LAWYERS TO WORK ON FRAUD

EXAMINE THE FRAUD

EVERY VOTE COUNTS

THIS IS FASCISM NOT DEMOCRACY

SHAME ON ALL OF YOU

TWO PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS STOLEN BY CRIMINALS

11. Done...answers
How did you participate in this election?
Election Protection, Hosted a website exposing the lies of bush*, got every one of my friends to vote, even those who never have before.

Is this the first time you participated in election activism?
No - participated in 2002 election in FL working on Deibold software gathering returns for Dixie County.

How would you like to continue to stay involved? (Volunteering, phonebanking, fundraising, local organizing, etc.)
Website will be converted to show how the republican party stole this election as well as 2000. Since the Democratic party refuses to do anything about it, it is up to the people. I feel this party has abandoned me.

Did you feel the actions you took were effective?
No. How can you win when they cheat?

Was it a good experience for you?
NO

How would you make it better?
Expose the fraud on a massive scale. Take out ads showing how there is a discrepency between the exit polls and the actual vote in electronic voting states, but this discrepency doesnt exist in paper ballot states. These exit polls are deemed valid enough to say that 'moral values' dictated the results, but not accurate enough to point out obvious fraud? Come on.

Please share other thoughts and comments you have about the 2004 election and what Democrats and the Democratic Party should do going forward.
I am at a loss as to how FL is lost when over a million votes have not been counted an NO issues of fraud have been publicly addressed or investigated. I am shocked that all this bragging about having 10,000 lawyers did NOTHING. We bowed down and gave up. Sickening.

United States of America 1776-2004. RIP
