In regards to Mrs, Edwards visit:
Here at DU we witnessed two women in Mrs Edwards and Mrs Kerry with the class and fortitude to stand alongside, not behind their husbands during a heated election. Both women have class and fortitude equal to an entire nation, they represent what is the American Woman. For Mrs Edwards to come here during this time shows what we all knew, she is a lady of the people, for the people. Women in America have to work hard for the respect of the nation, it's not my rule it's how our nation has positioned itself, Mrs Edwards has done that work.

In the last few days we at DU have become tin-foil vote counters, The new Abbie Hoffman's, and disenfranchised Americans looking for another country. I do not think that would be the message Mrs Edwards wants us to take from this election cycle. Certainly the tin-foil'ers are important, these are the people who only want the truth, we cannot condemn them for that. The new American hippie, what can you say, they changed a world at places like Berkley and Kent State, their time is now, go to the streets, make your voices heard, it is truly all you have in America. I will continue to do just that. To the Americans looking for a new home, is fleeing the message we want to send? Its not the message I got from the Kerry Edwards ticket, certainly not from John Edwards, a man who chose to fight the battles for Americans in courts across the land. In future articles I will show the evils of Bush/Cheney tort reform and show that during the debates John Edwards layed out a tort reform that really does protect Americans. I have written of it before and was proud when John Edwards ideas followed mine very closely. Tort reform is an issue very close to me as the spouse of a physician.

Elizabeth and John Edwards are names you have not heard the last of, those are names of Americans who will continue their fight for America, an America not run by corporations, an America not run by churches, and an American not run by one man who doesn't know right from wrong. The time is right now to stand with John and Elizabeth Edwards to face these challenges, it's the right time for America.

1. Well said.
There is no need to flee, no need to pursue only one strategy,
no need for despair, no need to eat our own.
