After all, an exit poll of 2,020 people (for CNN's exit polls) is far more accurate than actually asking the 5,000,000+ people of Ohio who actually voted what they think. Ohio has about 100 counties, so we're looking at basically asking 202 people per county, or if we weight it by population, far less than that in most counties (less in the "red" counties and more in the "blue" counties. I don't doubt that there was some fraud going on, but I think citing the exit polls as "evidence" of fraud is just completely ridiculous. Are we to believe that this massive repuke machine can fix a national election, but isn't capable of tilting an exit poll by a few percentage points? Would you have felt better if they had called OH and FL for Kerry, only to have him lose the vote in the end? Wasn't that what we were all bitching about after 2000?
