2. what the fuck is that supposed to mean
If we have millions of people blocking traffic and roadways and practicing civil disobedience, then we will hav ena effect. We need people to start telling the truth, not being scared, and organize us.

I'm not just gonna sit here, we need to demand the truth from our government an our media, and if that requires civil disobedience, than I am willing to organize and partake in it!!!

11. I think that kills us.
There are many weak Christians (Christmas and Easter; weddings and funerals) in this country that are as turned off by the stridently anti-religious tone of some in our party as they are by the evangelicals in theirs.

13. who said we are anti-religious?
Clinton was religious.
Carter was religious.
Kerry was religious.

The religious left has failed to get into politics in the last few years and define us as a party that is not afraid of religion!

8. The movement has just began
America at it's worst.
The heart of a land now shattered in pain.
Imperialisms and Immoral-ism now the greed of tomorrow.
The world now weeps as a Chimp screws us all.

We will rise up and will not concede.
We will rise up and destroy the fascism.
We will rise up and the hate will end.
We will rise up and find a new strength.

A new America has started.
A new disaster has grown.
A new breed of America.
A new need to fight.

Do not give into the hate.
Do not give into the pain.
Do not give into the rage.
Do not give into the anger.

We must stand strong and fight.
We must take back our nation.
We must become a movement.
We must revolt because the revolution has just began!

We will fight and win!
We will fight and take back the house!
We will fight and take back the pride!
We will fight and take back the freedom!

Will you stand strong or be afraid?
Will you find strength or fear?
Will you fill happy or angry?
Will you fight or give-in?

17. Are you a preacher or a speaker?
I'm not a public speaker or anything, but I will be willing to lead a movement against hatred and war. Keep in mind, it is unlikely that things in Iraq will get better, and as more Americans and Iraqis die (sadly) more people will be pissed as hell at Bush. His approval rating is only 47% now, wait a couple more months and it will be 40%. Something's gotta give, and it will give sooner if we have a voice and show that we are still here nad we are madder than ever.

I will not take another 4 years of Bush lying down!

23. You won't have to tolerate 4 more years
Watch as this monster of a government is unleashed-- and ultimately WILL FALL, because it IS evil.

And we will become unified, and stronger and will save our country from itself. It may get ugly, even bloody, but I've been there before- in the 60's and 70's.

But if they try and mess with women's reproductive rights, among other things-- we will hit the streets, because we are NOT going backwards.

"What is this beast whose time's come round at last..."

Let them try some right wing shit and we will bring them down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

31. Each day I update my sign in my front lawn
as to the number of fallen soldiers.

I also put on another sign the name of a fallen soldier and his age

I will continue doing that until the snows start falling, which is not very far off.

NO ONE is paying any attention to this. It is as if we are at war using invisible soldiers who are not human beings and who do not get blown apart and die.

Oh--just another anonymous dead American--don't worry, be happy. Happy Thanksgiving--Merry Christmas--shop and go on vacation.

Thank you Mr. Moore.

We've got most of the fresh water, all of Broadway, and Mt. St. Helens. We can dehydrate them or bury them in lava. And no more show tunes!

Amazing isn't it? You sound a call for action, and you are told what won't work, why nothing can happen, why you should just give up and on and on.

The people throwing wet blankets on any and all hope are the ones who should be on the defensive and should have to explain themselves, not you. Millions are with you, and more importantly you are right.

39. Ideas...
Michael Moore can be our youth leader.

We need a spiritual leader as well. Someone who doesn't piss off religiously minded moderates. Someone who evokes the religiosity of helping the poor and striving for social justice.

Howard Dean can be our political leader. But we need one person to tie them all together.

I just can't figure out how the Kerry campaign fell into the Rove trap so easily. They didn't start "getting it" untill the last 5 weeks, which was too late. While I still think we would have won had this election been fair, it shouldn't have been close enough to steal. I hope Kerry keeps up the fight and tries to at least bring out evidence against Bush in the near future.

We need someone who is gonna tie everything together: unite all of our bases, formulate a common message, and finally and most importantly, GET THE MESSAGE OUT!!! The mainstream media cannot be our sole source. We cannot keep relying on Michael Moore documentaries alone. We need a daily war room to frame issues in our light, like a talk radio network that can reach out to rural voters. Al Franken may be good for the cities, but we need some rural progressive talk show hosts that can frame our cultural issues in terms the rural cultural conservatives can understand. Like this:

<*>Poverty causes abortion. Republicans cause poverty. Vote Democrat and abortions will go down. Republicans do nothing because they want to keep abortion as a wedge issue.
<*>Gay marriage is a state issue. We don't want to expand the powers of the federal government and have "big brother" governing our every move. That is a Communist idea. Let the states decide like it says in the Constitution.
<*>In 2004, the Republicans ran on morals. Now they are running from them. The Iraq war has been a humanitarian catastrophe. We bombed more people than the rising number of abortions under Bush killed fetuses. And it brought us no benefit. We shouldn't be bombing pregnant women in Iraq.
<*>Letting the assault weapons ban run out was an idiotic idea. Now any terrorist can simply pick up a machine gun and fire into our schools. We can't let this happen. Keep our children safe!

It is relatively easy to frame the debate on these ridiculous wedge issues that Rove so effectively used. It only takes a matter of seconds to counter these Rove lies. The DNC fails to field candidates who do so. And we lack the apparatus to reach rural voters that may be suspicious of pundits on suits on television. This can't be a top down effort, it has to be a bottom up effort based on coordination from a central source. Rural voters are the skeptical sort that believe their friends over what they hear on TV. That's why they still believe that Iraq is part of the war on terror. Their friends are saying it because Republican talk radio is saying it. Ant that's far more believable than some finely groomed sophisto in TV.

Untill we get this, we will never pick up any seats or win any presidencies.

37. there is a religious left
...and you'll most likely find it in your local Unitarian church. The church in my area has, during the past year, hosted showings of anti-Bush movies, hosted authors of anti-Bush books, registered voters, married gay and lesbian couples in the sanctuary, participated in marches -- and the minister was willing to be arrested to be heard -- and so much more.

Check it out. Put your hand to the plow with like-minded folks.

46. where were we when legislation was passed to allow BBV??
Al Sharpton said "Our vote is not for sale!" Why weren't black religious leaders rallying around him? There needs to be demonstrations in the streets on a weekly basis. There needs to be civil disobedience.

Apparently it hasn't gotten bad enough yet. Unfortunately, Democrats only react and don't plan ahead. Because it will get bad enough soon. We will either lose in Iraq or have to reinstate the draft. That situation is not going to get better.
