IM sick of this Kerry won BS FACE reality
Even if Kerry had won OHIO he would have lost the popular vote.

He needed to win by a HUGE margin to really win the election. Imagine what the talk shows would have made 4 years of a Kerry presidency if he had won but lost the pop. vote, or just barely won. HE needed a landslide.

It didnt happen. Youth vote never materialized, anti war votes never materiallize, Fahrenheit vote was non existance!

So stop. Stop saying we won. Fact is our party is a POS. We dont have leaders!

Thats the winning attitude. Keep at it, that way we'll get a Democrat elected next century! WOW Im shocked at how some on here create their own reality.

14. Ya dump the issues that sank us. Gay issues and abortion
Done, you win with that formula.

Right now we are the party people choose only when they get mad at an incumbant. We're not a party people flock to.

20. no?
Hmmmm....

"We're not a party people flock to"

Why would you say that? We all saw a LOT of flocking.

Let's look at what is so clearly wrong, wrong, wrong with these elections results, and not go off on a "what's wrong with the Democratic party" tangent, and let's question anyone who tries to deflect us from this. That's my opinion.

6. Young voters turned out, but so did everyone else
Turnout among young voters was up over 2000, but turnout among other groups was up too, so their share of the overall vote remained the same.

10. it is not about Kerry
This election is but one more chapter in an ongoing theft of our democracy. To think otherwise requires us to reject and invalidate everything we know to be true about the people in this adminstration.

18. Won or not, Bush is still in office, and we have to deal with it.
I agree, we should focus on keeping him from doing an irrevercible damage.

19. Read Greg Palast - Kerry did win.
http://www.tompaine.com/articles/kerry_won.php
And you're saying Kerry should not have taken the victory had he won Ohio? Bush took it in 2000 without the popular vote.
Until we do something about these suppression tactics - also see http://www.opednews.com/thoreau_110404_diebold.htm - the deck is always going to be stacked against us. We have to expose their cheating to the light of day before it can be stopped.....
