With the Repugs in charge of all three branches of the government, there is no help in sight from Congress or the courts. We will have to begin our struggle with state and local government. One good place to start is the voting process itself, totally in the hands of local government. BBV needs to be outlawed. If ATMs all across the world can issue a receipt for a transaction, why cannot a voting machine print out a receipt? In fact, how about two receipts, one for the voter, and an identical one to be placed in a ballot box? That would allow for recounts, and a spot-check analysis could be done in every precinct to see if the paper ballots matched the machine totals.
