We have one statewide elected Republican out of 8 positions. We have more Democrats than Republicans in the house. We have a Democratic state legislature. We don't have to worry about bullshit like Aronld.

At least he's not a fundie. And (and I know this is going to be really controversial in this forum), I don't think he's doing THAT bad in California. He's going ahead with stem cell research. The worst thing he's done is endorse Bush (and that sucked, but what can you expect?).

Of course, I would still vote against him, I'm just saying he would be much better than Bush.
