1. The gay vote that wasn't
I spoke to the Republican gay guy at Starbucks today. He said none of his activist friends voted. He was the only one, and he finally decided that he preferred Bush.

I asked what happened to their activism. He said, "They're activist, but lazy." Greeeat.

Did the youth vote wimp out. Not in Wisconsin. Marquette came out in good numbers.

4. No, the youth vote came out strong for Kerry
but other groups increased their turnout, too.

7. No, actually 85% of gays and lesbians vote
Problem is 23% (about 1 million) of them voted for Bush. Yeah, we have idiots in our ranks too.

8. Like my Starbucks friend
And like the poor, jobless folk who'd rather eat cat food than vote for a Democrat.

No shit. 23% huh. Wow. My Starbucks friend said he was the only one of his gay friends to actually make the effort to vote. And he too voted Bush. He is apparently more Conservative than Gay.
