1. It wouldn't change a thing
And please, if there was any scenario where it would have changed anything he wouldn't have done it. They are still going to count all the votes.

4. What will happen?
Are the really going to continue to count the vote? Reports I have seen are saying they will discontinue all counting. Also, what will happen IF it turns out one or more states go to Kerry and change the electoral count? Are we still fucked? If you know the answers, please let me know, because I honestly don't know. Thanks.

9. It's mathamatically impossible for it to change the end
result. If that were not the case he would not have conceeded. It took until this afternoon for that to be determined. I hate it as much as anyone. I invested literally thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours. But it's over.

12. other ballots
Thanks for your response. It has been batted around that there are almost 6 million uncounted votes (in total...all places). Isn't it possible that the numbers could change a few places? Let's say Ohio stays the same, but Florida changes or several small states? Would that make a difference or is it a "done deal" now? Thanks again for the reply.

... the uncounted votes just aren't there, sad to say.

3. No fight
I was pissed in 2000, then I awoke and found Gore was going to FIGHT! I was shocked! I was upset this morning. Then I found out JK was NOT going to fight! WTF? Maybe the freepers were right...if he can't fight for those who supported him, how would he have fought for us elsewhere?

5. Sigh
I was mad at him but not anymore. The votes weren't there, otherwise he probably wouldn't have conceded. Bush won the popular vote so he obviously has support (not really a mandate but that makes no difference). I don't think he could have won.

6. No, because I understand math
and Kerry would have to win the uncounted votes at a rate near 100% to win.

is like putting pearls before swine...

He lost by 3,400,000 votes and over 100,000 in OH....

Gore carried on because he won the pop vote and "lost" Florida by 537 votes...

11. You have time to be mad at KERRY?
bush* started illegal and disasastrous wars, wrecked our economy, is destroying our environment and our civil rights, and you have time to be angry at Kerry for being too hasty?

13. No
I'm sure he would have fought on if there were any chance of success. The votes will still be counted. On the slim chance that the votes change the result, his concession is not binding.
