Fifty percent voted for a man who lied and attacked another country.

I have heard (my nephew being one) 20-somethings tell me that they don't vote because "they don't believe in the system."

Women business owners voting for Bush because of tax breaks.

White men---well, whatever.

Black Republicans because it's the party of Lincoln???? WTF? I guess they quit reading their history books at Reconstruction or something...

Log Cabin Republicans...again...tax breaks---fucking morons will never be allowed to live as full citizens, but hey...you can count your cash, right?

I am not really sure I give a fat rats ass right about this silly assed country.

Make me think I am wrong.

3. I normally believe that
This day has been horrible for me; husband has a great job in a town I fucking despise--I have a cold---and found out the car repair bill is going to be more than I make in a month.

And for the finale!

What a load of shit.

I understand what you are saying....maybe I just need some more Nyquil and the pillow

4. The pioneers, the Founders, the Revolutionary War
The Civil War, Women's Suffrage, Robber Barons and the first liberals, World War II, the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam Protests ... all these people did all these incredibly difficult things to create this nation.

Nameless, faceless heros made this country great.

What will you do and you give to make it better?

Now is not the time to leave. The time has come to regenerate and push back.

5. What else do we have?
Unless we're willing to entertain the popular fantasy that Canada is just dying to take in a hundred million or so Americans who didn't like the way the election went, then we have nothing else but this country.

7. The 20-somethings of which you speak may be forced to
participate in the system whether they believe in it or not.

It's too soon for me to answer your question. I don't have much fight left in me right now.

8. The REAL question is
Is the Democratic Party worth fighting for?

What was the Democratic Party Platform for 2004? I have a vague and slightly conflicted idea of what we were fighting for, and I study it everyday.

What do most Americans believe the Democratic Party Platform was?

Was our platform the same as the election we lost in 2000?

IMHO:The country is definately worth fighting for!
