some history
I hope people realize that America history is fraught with defeat
for the people. The sacrifice of others who have gone before us
makes us look like wimps.

*They literally murdered labor movement leaders (1820's-1930's)
*They murdered civil rights leaders
*There were many wars of conquest (Spanish American war)
*There was genocide (American Indian)
*Only until there looked like revolution did any socialist concepts, like social security and medicaid get passed. It was the great depression and revolt was looming large for America.
*It took 100 years to get women the right to vote in this country.
*The Vietnam anti-war movement failed for years and years to
get any change.

No one has even started a challenge in this country of multinational
corporations taking over the nation and solidifying their "new world order". CEO's are barely talked about in the scheme of things.

To get real change is going to take way more than we just put forth, believe it or not, discouraging and exhausting the people is one
of the many methods used to quell a movement.
