Why should anyone have to stand in line for 9 hours to vote ??

Why should anyone have to stand in line for 9 hours to vote ??
Is that not vote suppression by definition? And coincidentally, the longest waits were in the state of Ohio. Why should anyone have to wait for such a long time to cast his vote? There is a serious problem with our electoral system that needs fixed immediately. No Party, Democrats or Republicans, should be permitted to stall and hold up the votes of Americans in such a way?
