2. This was the last straw for me.
I'm finished fighting for Democrats. They don't fight for me. Fuck everything.

11. I'm pretty upset myself.
I've voted democrat all my life but wonder what's the use. I'll never vote Republican but why should I continue to vote democrat if we can't seem to win national elections. We did horribly. The House and Senate are even more in controlled by the Republicans.

22. I'll never vote republican either, unless it's in a primary
where I can vote for the less radical candidate. However, I don't see what standing my the Democrats has gotten me. AZ is a deeper shade of red this year than it was in 2000. My vote really doesn't matter in AZ.

5. Not only will Dems not fight, just wait to see how they
embrace the chimp's attempts at reaching out to the other side. :puke:

29. Sometimes people have to get what they think they want
to know that it wasn't what they thought it was. Right now, we know that the election was stolen, but most people don't--and won't--believe it, even if all the evidence smacked them in the face, because they don't want to. Historically, the American people only turn to Democrats when the fat is in the fire, and it's almost too late to save it. I sincerely hope that we don't get to that point, but my guess is--we will. You could say the problem with the Democratic Party is that it believes in the constitution & the rule of law too much, and that they love their country too much to try to divide it more, but would you really want to be the other way? What we know, the rest of the country will discover to it's pain and regret. Just save your disgust for that "I told you so" moment. It will be ever so sweet.

Kumbaya, motherfuckers.

I'm disgusted beyond words. That our Party betrayed us like this is appalling.

14. Yes they let us down repeatedly.
I am so tired of it. The Democrats just don't seem to get it. They are dealing with people who are tough and fight to win. They never give an inch. You never hear a Republican saying a Democrat is a nice guy. Yet, you have people like Begala saying such and such a Republican is a nice guy. Also, when do you ever hear a Republican trashing his own as some Democrats did McKinney. Something has to change with the Democratic Party.

12. I called the Kerry Headquarters
the guy I talked to said they looked at the numbers and felt this was best for the country. When the numbers are manipulated, how can you go by them? And why after the steady pressure Kerry put on the whole campaign, is he just stopping? How can anyone just stop?

15. "Best for the country"...
That's the problem. We always do what's "best for the country." Republicans always do what's best for themselves.

:-(

23. truer words never spoken
How can it be good for the country? For the world? Allowing a megalomaniac to trample unimpeded over the citizens of the world is BAD for everyone. Running down the path to Armegeddon is not the only way the human story has to end. But we have a monkey loser driving the circus car over the cliff. How many people have already died since the Supreme Court put Bush in the White House? Did anyone see the story where Bill F*head Frist said Bush wouldn't need Senate permission to invade Syria? Do the families who voted for Bush 'values' understand that every kid in the next generation is going to get drafted and go die somewhere? Bush will reinstate a draft, and with the economy destroyed, it won't just be the dirt poor families sending their kids off to the military. And anyone who is 18 or younger, except rich kids, will be cannon fodder.

17. What would you have us do?
Sue somebody? We're already painted by Rove as whiny babies anyway.

We need to refocus, stick to issues like protecting the working man, civil rights and health care and maybe put on suits and ties.

19. Realistically
I know that the numbers probably wouldn't add up in our favor. Emotionally, I feel betrayed that Kerry and Edwards get to go back to their fabulous lives while we are stuck with a president who will run this country into the ground. I'll probably get over the feeling of betrayal but we really need to reform the party and start winning elections.

21. And realistically, you're not gonna start winning elections...
...until a) you get a paper trail on touch screen machines, and b) change the election laws so that there are mandatory audits of random precincts to make sure there's no fraud.

26. Yup, they screamed that every vote would count
And that every vote would be counted. What the hell happened to that?

As I posted on another thread, I feel betrayed and almost as if I were at a funeral. This day will go down in infamy. The day our democracy died.

I'm sick to my stomach.

Now I want to hear what Franken has to say. It ain't going to be pretty.

Their stance is completely different to that of earlier today . I just don't know what . The evidence for fraud was overwhelming IMHO .
