Remember THAT brilliant move by the spineless Democrats. We'll "fix it" when Kerry's elected. Shit. We are SO screwed! I can't believe we have another 4 year nightmare.

1. Look - over there - it's the person responsible for the CIA leak
We will find out who is responsible, honest, oh never mind.

2. My reality-based question to myself yesterday afternoon was
When does Goss get fired?

Fuck.

3. They couldn't have done anything about it w/o a majority in the Congress.
Don't you get it? The Prez OWNED the branches of government. And now, apparently, owns even more than that.

4. Couldn't they have filibustered?
I do believe that was what they were contemplating. No?

5. NO, now Goss is stuck as head of the CIA.
The crises facing this Republican regime will not be simple, easy, or quickly overcome. They have broken country with a serious enemy getting ready to pounce and a world that feels little or no sympathy.
Not a pretty picture.

6. Our own fucking wimps screw us as often as the Republicans
Much of the time we let them win.

You want to see pathetic? Wait until Bush nominates Ken Starr to the Supreme Court and the Democrats approve him.

It only gets worse from here.
