Well at least Bush is finally stuck with his mistakes this time.
Although its not over even if Bush wins we can take heart that for the first time in his life Jim Baker isn't coming in riding a Saudi white horse to rescue his failing business.
I'd say with a stockmarket begging to dive, a monstrous housing market clawing on for dear life not to bust things are going to get interesting here not to mention Iraq.
Its all on the Republicans and Bush now. All of it.
5. well guess what? He doesn't fucking care. He's a drunk and
a failure. He only got into this thing because his daddy convinced him it was like a game of horseshoes. Probably said if he didn't give it his all in the campaign he'd promote Jeb and let Jeb have a crack at it.
THe only redeeming quality Bush has from a campaign standpoint is his utter ruthlessness and deep competitive nature. HE wants to win whatever it is.
He'll try to win at craps, horse shoes whatever. DOesn't matter that he doesn't read newspapers or policy papers. Doesn't matter that he has no critical thinking skills and is spoon fed all his talking points. He's just along for the ride while Cheney and boys animate him with their ideals.
It is so not worth it to me that "Wel at least he has to live with his mistakes". He laughs in our faces with his mistakes.
And they can't point the finger at anyone else. I think now we need to stop attacking Bush and start going after the GOP as a whole. Bush can't run again. In the election to come, in two years, we can and should run on balancing the three branches of government. And if need be the impeachment of Bush/Cheney if that's what the people are in the mood for.
