I was in a Lab class last night and this Asian girl and a Latino girl both were Bush supporters and they said, "I like Bush"

"I like him"...Not he is a great leader or a great man, but they like him.

Throw in the 700Club Fundies and the moralists and there you have it. And again, Kerry ran right to the center. Instead of a real distinguishing platform, we just said we'd do what Bush had done, but we'd do it differently or better. We'd cut taxes like Bush, but differently or better.

I thought it was a good plan in that the security freaks would trust Kerry. In the end, it appears this nation has moved well to the right. Whether that is because of propaganda or not, I don't know. But I am really at the point I can't fight anymore...This makes me sick.

We didn't win the election. Bush did and has. It's over. That approval rating merely suggests that the dems dropped the ball. The American people wanted something else, but I guess they didn't see a viable alternative.

And keep in mind, the GOP knew this was coming. They knew Dems were energized like no body's business and countered that with their own GOTV drive. And yes...the 700Club sent out over 30 million "candidate scorecards" and those people vote.

Ohio has a ton of people who are into that moral issues bullshit.

Even after seeing what a complete clown Bush was in the debates, this nation still selected him. I have no idea where things went wrong, but until I see something other than rumor-mongering on DU I'm not prepared to say this was fixed.
