3.7 Million more popular votes?!?!? I wake up to this?!?!
Holy crap. I feel sick. I knew Ohio was in contest but man alive.

I have no doubt that there were shady goings on. But I'm just not tinfoil enough to believe they could steal that many.

What I believe is that people's hatred of gays beat out their love for american values. And that sickens me even more.

2. Americans also love war. They want to kill brown people so they can feel
as if they avenged the acts of 911.

Americans are ignorant knuckle dragging assholes.

3. You've woken up to outrageous lies for 4 years.
Why should those lies be any more believable today?

6. Sorry.. I just don't think that's the case here...
If this were a squeaker I'd be right there with you and think in the sam e way. And I do hope we fight until the bitter end. But 3.7 million more votes, when I know the ignorance of a large swatch of this country is just too believable and too overwhelming. I'm sick about it.

8. No need to apologize, I think that's exactly the case here.
It is the BushCo M.O. to lie. Why would they lie small, and leave doubters like yourself - when it's just as easy to lie big and overwhelm? Have they EVER done that before? Yes I think they have.

Not meaning to berate you - seriously - but perhaps this is just another version of "Shock and Awe".

7. I don't understand this...
I just can't believe that these people didn't already vote in droves. It just seems like it would be in their nature.

9. It's all a mandate...
Expunge all gays, poor, minorities, sick, middle-class, "terra-ists", and anyone "over there" that won't convert.

America is a country for the rich fascists nowadays. Anyone else is either insignificant or needs to be deleted.

11. Rich people were not the ones voting for Bush - look at the states!
The average Republicans is probably poorer than the average Democrats, and far more ignorant. They believe what they are told by authority and they do what they are told as well. When they are told to vote, they vote. People on our side like to think for themselves and I guess it's killing us. :)

10. It's amazing Kerry was/is in the hunt with a 51-48 deficit
One state away? That defies my Excel model and conventional wisdom of a century or more.

I would have projected either guy above 300 electoral votes with a 3.7 million vote lead.

We lost the popular vote fair and square. I looked at states that don't sniff electronic voting and we were killed. The Broward Conuty numbers were massive in our favor, and that's a Diebold county. Maryland is 100% Diebold and Kerry cruised there.

Exit polls are not an exact science if the sample is not properly weighted and you don't have a good model for that state. I would have had much more confidence in VNS than AP. Nationally, the sample is large enough I'm confident of the exit poll indications.

12. Palast was right, wasn't he?
Millions of votes stolen.

Then again, maybe 3.7 more Americans prefer Bush, and if that's the case, god help this country. The man is a dangerously incompetent buffoon! The entire world sees it. We see it, but a little more than half of the American population is blind.

14. And the way I feel about those 3.7 million
is fuck them. Someone else posted that we should forgive their ignorance; not me, no more, they're on their own and I'll not waste one more thought on compassion for any poor, ignorant * supporter. As far as the * base of super wealthy-I'll be boycotting anything I find out they are connected with. This stupid buffoon is NOT my president, never has been, never will be. What a colossal mess!

18. Agreed.
Let those who think * is a "man of god" find out just how much he cares about his brethren. He's a phony. But I'll not worry about them any longer. Let them go fight his wars for oil and lose their sons and daughters and they'll still say it was all worth it. They are uneducated and gullible - it usually goes hand in hand. That's why you see the profile of the average Bush voter as being someone who shops at Wal-Mart and likes Nascar and, oh, well you know the rest. I will not be a part of the dumbing down of America. No way, no how.
