Bye Bye Daschele
I doubt there's gonna be any tears here.

Now let's see which direction the DNC wants to go.

4. He Lost His Nerve
After 9/11 he lost all fight and then when the Senate flipped and Frist came in, he was dead meat. Reminds me of what happened to Tom Foley in '94...yep, it's been one of those nights.

There's a lot of Democratic lambs out there...we'll soon find out whose in control here. I doubt Lieberman gets it, but then my political instincts are totally fried now.

5. One piece of good news tonight
Daschle's loss and Obama's huge win. I for one won't miss Daschle one bit. As the saying goes, give the people the choice between a fake Republican and a real Republican and they'll choose the real one every time. So sad for him that he didn't realize that. Screw him.

6. This mindset is why we're looking at a 20 year Repub majority
Never mind if they're pro-choice. Never mind if they're pro-environment. Never mind if they've spend their career standing up for the working man.

Still not liberal enough. Fuck em.

7. He put out advertisements of him HUGGING GEORGE BUSH
Now I may be mistaken, but that really doesn't seem like it's doing much to help John Kerry or the rest of the Democrats.

10. Welcome To The Golden Age of All For Me, Fuck You
The doors are wide open now...the people have spoken, or the ones who bothered to vote, and the manchild now has the popular vote...and will see this as a mandate that will barrel over any moderate...Democrat or Repugnican that gets in their way.

Problem is soon we'll start seeing the Deaniacs fight the Clarkies fight the Kucinich people in a combination blame game and pity party...and not to mention the soon-to-be Hillary factor.

I'm not sure I want to be around for any of this.

11. Dashle might be a fine man
but he was not the man for the job as minority leader. He rarely showed any emotion. I got so tired of him saying "it's most unfortunate."
