Let's give it up for John Kerry
He gave it his all for his country, just like he did in his youth. He ran a race which either led, or is leading, to the brink of victory in a climate of fear, with a conservative elite pulling out all the stops. He managed to convince 40% of the American people who rallied behind George Bush to change their minds. The strength of the argument he made says good things about our future. I would be proud to have him represent me as president. Should that not be this year, he will stand as a brilliant beacon of light in the Senate. I hope we've not seen the end of him on the national stage.

I got to cast my vote for a president this year who is a better man than I am. That says something.

2. I believe in John Kerry
and I think he will fight. I do not believe the media. I pray that Kerry fights these bogus results.

3. Why "give it up" now? Do you mean "give in"? n/t

5. No. I mean give the guy a big round of virtual applause.
He did his best, and did it with honor and class.

6. Parts of the Kerry campaign were a disaster!
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 01:20 AM by Democat
His lack of response to the Swift Liars and his "all positive" wimpy convention turned the campaign toward Bush and we never recovered.

Kerry might be a great man, but his campaign strategy left much to be desired.

That is all I'll say for now.
