3. I think you may be right
I have been sitting here wondering if rethugs were told in Ohio and Florida to lie to exit poll takers in order to make it look like a big Kerry victory thus making lots of Dems decide that they didn't need to stand in line for 6 hours since we were going to win.

5. Quite possible... But, that would have leaked, I think...
You cannot send a mass e-mail to Repubs without it leaking to non-Repubs. I have not heard about anything like that...

4. Well, they damn sure influenced my financial situation
I dumped more on Kerry after taking a peak this afternoon. But I won every individual state and senate race, giving high odds on cinch pickups.

How many Democrats had access to exit polls? Or changed plans once they knew them? I would wager slim to none.

We may have had a terrific turnout that the GOP simply equalled. As I emphasized all along, this was always going to be about preference, not registration or turnout advantage. Democrats were kidding themselves all year that the GOP wouldn't show up in full frenzy on November 2.

6. Karl Rove's theory...
...is that undecideds like to break for a winner, so it would have helped us if anything.

7. you are CORRECT
That why CA dems were pissed that Carter conceded early. The dems left the voting lines and the winners stayed. People like to be on the winning side.

8. Looks like the touted "new youth vote" stayed at their Nintendos.
