Anybody up for a 269-269 tie?
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 11:29 PM by DWolper
We can lose Ohio AND Florida and still end up in a tie with some PROBABLE Kerry wins. And we thought it couldn't get any weirder than 2000.

edit - added ?

11. Read the Constitution. In case of a tie each state gets one vote. WY=CA
They would win it in the House. But tonight, we will win.

12. That's AFTER the electoral college meets!
The possibility (probability) of rogue electors is very strong.

8. If we win the WV defector and Bush wins the one Maine elector
then we're back at 269-269.

10. My point
Really, my point is that it's shaping up to be a real possibility. Not a probability yet - but it could happen. All Hell would break loose. Forget it going to the House - rogue electors would settle it. That's what I meant when I said, "And we thought it couldn't get any weirder than 2000."
