1. YEESSS!
Just got a lot of help from Wayne and Washtenshaw counties. And Wayne only has 37% of it's precints in and the other only 6%.

4. I can't believe it.
My itty, bitty little home county is white! Usually it's a solid red, but Grandholm picked up a lot of votes there. I know my mom voted Kerry. She hates bush.

Frankly, I thought that Kent (GR) would be a darker red.

8. Oceana. It's just north of Muskegon.
I grew up there. Lots of asparagus fields and cherry trees, as well some really nice beaches.

My Mom lived in Jackson during WWII. She was a teacher, but quit to go work in an ammo plant. It was a real experience for her, since she grew up in a rural county, too, Newaygo. She found out that African Americans were okay up close and personal.
