I've actually been thinking that maybe this country is moving in a direction that just cannot be stopped. The fundamental, devout religious (so devout you let it run your politics), cult mentality (follow your leaders no matter WHAT they say or how badly they hurt you) that seems to be growing in this country .... maybe it's just headed in a direction that can't be stopped. :shrug:

This country cannot be the "global superpower" forever. What goes up must come down. I honestly think that our decline does depend on who is leading our country as well as who is in charge of our Congress. We're quickly pulling back into some psychotic, fundamental, isolationist, egotistical pattern; pulling away from all of the other countries in the developed world (who seem to be moving forward in the right direction, despite us).

I've lost a LOT of faith in the American people. I knew there were a lot of blind ignorant people out there. I'm just sad that while people were trying to educate them in how to vote, they didn't educate them in how to read the abundance of CREDIBLE material out there that shows them who their "Political God" really is.
