A little question...
Does the person who get the 270 electoral votes first is the winner or the person who gets the most votes win?

1. The most obviously
The minimum number to win is the 270 figure but who ever wins the majority Electoral votes and has also reached the minimum amount wins the presidency. Otherwise why would you see a projection of Kerry winning the presidency with a total of 313. If it was the first one to 270 there would be no reason to count anymore past 270.
