Struggling with depression re: red states
After all that has happened (most recently estimates of 100,000 Iraqis deaths), I just can't believe all those states are ratifying Bush's policies and the way he has carried them out.

1. Don't get depressed
So many people have been brainwashed by media propaganda it's going to take a restructuring of our media regulations to bring some people the truth.

2. I'm in a deep funk right now too because of the red states.
The only thing that will bring me out of it is a Kerry victory.

5. We knew the red states were going red.
I'm not sure why these are such a surprise. It is kind of nasty the way the media is covering it, though.

6. Oh.. BUCK UP people!
Did you ACTUALLY believe that the Red states would go Kerry? I'm sorry.. but people here tonight are sounding as pathetic as the freepers did today, when the exit polls were looking bad for them.

7. What a bunch of drama queens!
OMG BUSH WON OKLAHOMA!!! WHAT WILL WE DO??? IF BUSH WINS NORTH DAKOTA THEN ALL HOPE IS LOST!!!!

So far, Bush has not taken a single state that we didn't all know h would take. He's ahead right now because the Bible Belt and the Square States have reported, places that anyone with two brain cells knew he would get.

Could we please use our heads and lay off the hysterics?

9. Don't worry about Wyoming and it's 3 electoral votes!
Or North Dakota and it's 3 electoral votes! Or Nebraska and it's 5 electoral votes. Or any of the other rinky-dink large states devoid of population (and intelligence). Many red states worship Bush, sure, but eventually Bush's momentum is going to taper off. Then along will come Kerry to scoop up California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and all the other juicy blue states.
