Coburn 49%; Carson 46% (msnbc)
only 3% precincts reporting, but msnbc called it for dr. scary. :grr::grr::grr:

Tell me it isn't so! I didn't think our senate delegation could get worse than nickles/inhofe, but apparently it can :scared::puke::scared:

11. To Me
He seemed like a conservative morality republican who called himself a democrat to win.

Granted, all I saw was their debate on Meet the Press.

12. He was a moral conservative dem
but coburn is reactionary. it's a matter of degree, and the difference is stark. coburn, for instance, advocated the death penalty for doctors who perform abortions, sterilized girls without their knowledge, said that lesbian was so rampant in schools in SE oklahoma that schools had to restrict the bathrooms to only one girl at a time, and, while serving in the U.S. House, ripped the television showing of Schindler's List, saying it was obscene (the worst thing ever shown on TV, in fact) because it contained ... a nude scene.

This state screwed up big time tonight.

9. I'm not too disappointed with this
Further radicallization of the Republican party will lead to a fracture.

10. well, maybe nationally or in other states
but the conservatives in oklahoma were about as fractured as they get when the primary ended this year. This is seriously bad news.

15. There are good people here
and plenty of them. And they don't all deserve dust.

But you're right, women lose in OK, and tonight's result is horrible.
