11. He was ahead in some, behind in others. They are not very accurate.
They did indicate that he was doing better than many of the pre-election polls said he would do, though.
But I saw a source that said Gore was up 5 in early Ohio exit polls in 2000, and of course he lost Ohio by 4 points or so. So don't take them too literally.
They are noisy and inaccurate just like any other poll.
we celebrated FL not because we were ahead in exit polls but because we WON Florida for crying out loud until Bush left that restaurant with his bro and went back to their hotel room to make their calls....
Sorry... I just have bad memories when it was called the other way. I was as anxious for that one as I was for this one...
I don't think that's going to happen this time, but my gutt is telling me the freepers are cheating HARD this time. My hope is that our numbers are so damn overwhelming it won't matter.
Somebody put it best earlier: "We waited four years, we can wait four more hours."
We don't know anything more than we knew before we went to bed last night. I like our chances, but there's a difference between confidence and foolish cockiness.
The time for celebration may very well be nearing....but it's not here yet.
