Please post your voting observations of the amount or percentage of this age group you saw in line to vote.

2. I'm 27 and voted today.
Out of the line there were two women out of a crowd of 25 or so obviously younger then me, then several women around my age or just a bit older, mostly women though in line. Time was around 6:40ish Central time.

3. I'm voting
The amount of new voters at UConn and Eastern Connecticut State University is amazing. It's rather likely that these voters will determine the result of the 2nd District House Race between Rob Bush- I mean Rob Simmons, and Jim Sullivan.

5. I'm 23, and I voted at 7:30 this morning.
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 10:30 AM by jadedcherub
Even that early there was about 30-40+ people in the precinct polling place, and of them there were probably three people 18-25ish there. 7:30 -=A.M.=- though! That's dedication, dammit.

.jc.

On Edit:

At least, that's early for someone like me. ;)

6. 24 Yrs Old In Oxford, Ohio...
...i voted today about 8:30 am, and there was no line. This is a college town. I was a bit discouraged at first, but i asked a poll worker if they'd been busy and she said, yes, there was a long line at 6:30 and they'd been flowing in all morning and i got there "just at the right time" as the lines had just died down. I had to change my address, too, and the poll worker who handled that was a bit frazzled by what form to give me and commented, "It's just been so hectic all morning!"

I live off-campus, and my precinct is a mix of (mostly) college kids and townies. I'm sure the on-campus precincts are even crazier.

11. Youth vote here will go for * because the midshipmen from campus
tend to be conservative politically.

On the other hand, not too many of them vote _here_ but do absentees instead.

15. Almost 21 and I voted a few hours ago.
I was the youngest one there (besides children that Bushies brought with them), but because of my location I'm away from the precinct where the college students are voting, which I imagine is packed and going heavily Kerry.
