14. I'm ignoring ALL the idiots...
...I will be finding links to stats and making my OWN conclusions. Fuck the pundits. Fuck the networks. Fuck em all. I'm going by actual returns, with my own unscietific (and completely unexplainable, baseless and made up) formula factoring the exit polls (from a source of my own choosing) with a weight added for early voting.

Drudge, Blitzer, Matthews, Faux, and all the rest can kiss my liberal ass.

33. Also the Freeptards!
Why do people insiist on linking to that website. I know it would be an exception to our rules, by I'd propose that if you want to post crap from those idiots, don't post a link. Why give that website the additional traffic?

Regarding Drudge, I'm boycotting today. I don't care what that buttmonkey has to say today!

4. Ahhh

At 3 PM there will still be at least 4 hours of voting left and millions still not voting, as many may vote after work.

Why don't these creeps just let people vote and tally up the points at the end. 3 PM is absurd.

17. Agreed. They should AT LEAST wait until CA closes
if not HI and AK

Thats the only fair way. That way no one in other time zones are influenced and no one can prematurely ejaculate, like they did MANY times 4 years ago.

And all the tight ass news people kept it from us.

35. I'm no fan of Matt Drudge
But I will be looking at his #'s. While exit polling isn't infallible, it will tell us what direction this race is headed in.

36. Words on early Exit Polls, from JMM
Edited on Tue Nov-02-04 11:52 AM by jefferson_dem
"Exits come out in a several batches over the course of the day. Democrats, on average, tend to vote later in the day than Republicans. Not always, but that's the pattern, for fairly straightforward demographic reasons. And for that reason their exit poll numbers tend to get better over the course of the day. That was strikingly so in 2000. So if you see less than perfect numbers plastered around in the early afternoon, don't let that rattle you."
