Kerry looks like he's got a secret!!!
I saw Kerry's rally in New Hampshire today on C-Span! He looked positively giddy. He was bubbly, in fact. Now, Kerry is not the dour sobersides that the media love to paint him as, but he is not usually this animated. Do you think his campaign's polling is telling him something? Something good?
KERRY IN A LANDSLIDE!!!:bounce:

1. It's either good internal news or....
he'giddy from the lack of sleep. I feel like it is the former, perhaps enhanced by the latter!!!

4. Yeah everyone knew it was over
After green got that last touchdown. I love those trends that have never failed, that and the 2-1 against the incumbent im tired of pundits saying "it will go against the trend"

3. I saw the same thing, and yes I think he knows.
I read several times that the winner is known the weekend preceding the election.

Jimmy Carter has written about being told on Saturday that it was over. The previous day's poll had the election with a 1-point difference, in Carter's favor, but by Saturday night they knew what the undecideds had decided.

Again, Clinton knew he would win on the Monday before the election. This has been written about.

I saw a new look on Kerry today. And I saw George Bush look absolutely awful in his interview with Brokaw. I got that good feeling.

18. That's exactly right.
The last weekend has a decisive break in a close election. From what I see it looks like *'s house of cards is falling and Kerry does not look like a man who has heard bad news.

11. Actually that's the same big shit-eater I've been wearing all weekend
In Kerry's case it's probably about 50% what his handlers are telling him to act like and 50% pure optimism. He's done a hell of a good job in an extremely important campaign. He's on the verge of saving the country and the US Constitution. I'd say he's earned some pride.

I feel this constant sense of joy and relief. And trust me, I CAN be quite cynical.

6. I got the same feeling last Saturday when he was in here in NM...
in Las Cruces. Actually, for a few days before. He looked so calm while Bush looked frantic. At that point I asked myself, "Does he know something?"

8. He's much better at rallies than TV speeches
I saw him a couple of weeks ago and he was positively electric.

16. I have been saying that I plan on popping 4 bottles of Champagne
Tuesday night after Kerry wins, but I think I will be just plan crying from joy. Kerry will have his hands full from the get go. I just hope he can fix a lot of what bush has screwed up. Also we can't let up on Nov. 3rd. We will need to keep bush and all republicans under fire until Kerry is sworn in.
