Name your SURPRISE state
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 09:13 PM by newsguyatl
Which state, if any, do you think will have all the politicos and pundits on Tuesday night in total shock?

I'll go first -- I think VA is going Kerry.

42. Idaho
Don't laugh. I have lived in Idaho my whole life. There is an increase in new voters in Idaho as well. I personally know Repubicans voting for Kerry. I don't know if Idaho will go blue but I don't think it will be a landslide for Bush. Remember, Idaho is a state that also elected Frank Church and Cecil Andurs.

77. Agree....I think NC will squeak through...At least our numbers so far with
early vote are looking really good. Now if the fundies send out mobs on Tuesday...it could throw it...but I know Dems who've tried to vote two and three times in early voting but lines too long and they said they will be there on Election Day until the polls close to vote to get Bush out..

So...I think...it's THE SURPRISE...15 Electoral Votes.

I live in the shadow of Jefferson's Tomb
He has been spinning in his grave since
December '00 and making quite a racket.
His Democracy is in grave danger!
Lately though, he has begun to slow down.
After each Presidential debate the RPM's decreased.
With just a few hours to go he is nearly quiet now,
secure in the knowledge his State will help return
Democracy to his beloved mountain.

Even the dead know Bush* is toast.

Last night when I took my son out, yeah, we had Halloween last night, I saw nothing but * signs <sigh> but we did go to the well-to-do part of town. It was a little depressing.

* will have a hard time winning this state. I can't see it by such a wide margin as has been said.
