Making phone calls to swing states.

There is a "Daily Kos Diary" about how people in safe states can call voters in swing states to encourage voting, at:

1. I just read the comments, and some people are having bad

experiences, finding that some of the people they're reminding to vote are for Bush.

I've never tried this tool, and so if you try it and it's bad, just stop.

2. Get in touch with local Democratic party and Kerry campaign to coordinate

It's much easier if you are phone banking with buddies.

Our local Kerry HQ is doing phone calls to other states. The obvious advantage is, you'll be working from lists of registered Democrats and Independents, so you won't be encouraging as many bushies to vote.
