If the CIA/WH has had the tape since September -- or even early October -- not too far a stretch to imagine that Rove manipulated the timing release.

no manipulation, otherwise why put the tape out on a friday afternoon?

the saturday paper is not widely read as a general rule, many of the sunday morning shows (meet the press, etc) are taped before then.

if the tape was manipulated to help bush it would have come out like wed or thurs to have the greatest impact possible in the papers.

sides it also reminds many people that osama is still out there and bush failed to capture him
