7. Hmmm Numbers
According to not-so tiny Tim this morning on MTP, turnout could be between 15-20 million or more higher than 2000. So figure 17.5 mill, times 62% and you get one hellva popular vote majority!!!!!

8. That, Sir, Is Why We Will Win, And By A Fair Margin
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 06:54 PM by The Magistrate
Those who newly registered in opposition to the criminals of the '00 Coup will go to the polls. Further, they reflect the tremendous anger and determination of Democratic Party voters over-all to get to the polls and vote these reptiles out of office. We will dominate the turn-out at the polls on Tuesday: "likely voter" predictions based on past performance have no relevance; reactionary attempts to obstruct at the polls will be like walls of paper in a flood.

"Damn, there's a lot of 'em...."

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

Always liked the "pissing into the wind" thingmie. Better visual, and more fitting to the point at hand, don't you think?

13. Did say Pissin' in the Wind, sounds like a Jerry Jeff tune.........
Pissin' In The Wind
by Walker Jerry Jeff

Pissin' in the wind, bettin' on a losing friend
Makin' the same mistakes, we swear we'll never make again
Pissin' in the wind, but it's blowing on all our friends
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

About the time I called this Guy it was four in the morning
Teach me the words to the song I was humming

(hum along)

He just laughed and he said that the ole grey cat is sneakin' down
the hall
But all he wants to know is who in the hell is paying for this call

Oh Pissin' in the wind, bettin' on a losing friend
Makin' the same mistakes, we swear we'll never make again
And we're pissin' in the wind, but it's blowing on all our friends
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

Now this Nunn called me up, it was eight in the morning
Wanted to know how in the world am I doin'
Ohhhh ohh, mmmm mmmm
He just laughed and he said get it together boy, and fall on by the house
Some Gonzo buddies would like to play anything your picking now

Oh pissin' in the wind, bettin' on a losing friend
Makin' the same mistakes, we swear we'll never make again
And we're pissin' in the wind, but it's blowing on all our friends
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

Now we worked and we suffered and struggled
Makin' our record till we got it right
Now we're waiting on the check to come sneaking down the hall
Like that old time feeling
That we never should have ever put the record out at all

Yes pissin' in the wind, bettin' on a losing friend
Makin' the same mistakes, we swear we'll never make again
And we're pissin' in the wind, and it's blowing on all our friends
We're gonna sit and grin and tell our grandchildren

That the answer my friend is just pissin' in the wind
Oh the answer is pissin' in the sink

10. Me thinks the strategy of another Pearl Harbor in order to
get Iraq, then the others - for Halliburton and the corporations may have failed with or without the cooperation of right wing Israel.

11. Why the hell do you think
Republicans have been going nuts trying to challenge tens of thousands of new voters in Ohio first, and now Wisconsin, after the three cases they brought in Ohio were thrown out yesterday. Since so many of these newly registered voters do not show up in any of the polls as pollsters rely on the last lists of registered voters available. Lets put it this way., 20 million new voters have been registered for this election. If they all vote that is o\potentially over 13 million votes for Kerry as opposed to under 7 million for Bush. If only a third of those new voters vote, as would be typical in most election uears, that stil leaves kerry with over 4 million votes and Bush with about 1,700,000 votes beyond the know votes from available polls. No matter what, this means a lot of ovtes for Kerry, that Bush cannot even begin to compete with.

16. It's been my hunch, since Bush doesn't seem like the kind of prez to go
out of your way for.

Feeds my hunch but it would be nice to know methodology. Dovetails nicely with the cell phone users poll....55 Kery to 40 bush.

Anyway, I've heard there are 15 million new voters this year. That's 9.3 for Kerry, 4.35 for Bush.
