18. I was at that Manchester, New Hampshire

rally! My sister and I drove up from New York Saturday and went in the City Hall Plaza at about 3:00pm..

It was really wonderful to be there but I didn't even see Kerry and the others. We only heard them ..there were so many People there.

Someone said they were expecting 10,000 and 15,000 showed up. It was was a hastily put together rally..but we had great speakers like General Tony McPeak, Theo Epstein, John Henry, and Tom Werner before Kerry spoke.


They decided to have it on the Thursday before bush has his on Friday(where curt schilling stood bush up)..I heard bush only had 8,000 show up and couldn't fill the seats inside the Horizon building.

It seemed like the whole town of Manchester was alive with Kerry supporters on Halloween. I loved being with so many kindred spirits!
