Just got back from poll observation training and boy am I pumped.
The Dem HQ was packed with volunteers, standing room only. They had to actually hold a second training meeting because not everyone could fit in the room. It was so great being surrounded by excited, positive people.:bounce:

NC has had record early voter turnout and they are anticipating record levels on Tues. :bounce:

GOTV!

2. Does everyone who poll watches not work? Retired? Unemployed?
What's the scoop on that? I would've liked to help, but I work. I probably couldn't even get to the polls until close to closing time, with the traffic and all.

3. My husband is taking a vacation day to be an election judge
There are lots like him. If you can't afford to use vacation, don't feel bad. You can be an activist in other ways.
