If Bush tries to steal this election in any fashion, then I think everybody should go out and bring pressure upon the government. We should go out on the streets in massive demonstrations, we should keep contacting our lawmakers in Washington D.C., and we must not back down this time like we did in 2000. We need seriously forget our differences and stop Bush from taking the election. We ought to look to what happened in Serbia in 2000 when Milosevic tried to take the election there. People rose up, organized, and marched. They were not going to take anymore of him and his politics of corruption and war. We should not be any different. Anybody interested in starting an America version of Otpor?

They got tired of Milosevic and stood up albeit finally. They did all of that not long after our election in 2000. We allowed Bush to cheat, they did not allow Milosevic to cheat.

Anyhow... they were thinking of it, until they realized what we all know... this is a cauldron and ready to explode... hence why they have not raised teh alert status... didn't it strike you as odd that they had both AQ tapes yet threat levels remained where they are?

Now you know, seems that they were scared by the ammount of times things like oh Revolution and Civil War came up... and not quite in the quiet and at times very boring academic milieu.

I think that is when things will get ugly. I am hoping it doesn't happen. I really don't want violence to occur. If the government does oppress the masses then the World will be watching and America will no longer be the Land of the Free. That will all be truly dead and I will not stay here if that happens. Neocons have been packing courts with their loyalists for years. That doesn't mean we shouldn't try it, but GOP may tie us up with court challenges, while Chimpy continues as the Squatter President. He has possession of the White House.

Peaceful civil disobedience may be the only way. Perhaps it is time to rent the movie Ghandi?
