on zogby forum JOHN KERRY IS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!!!!!
http://www.zogby.com (forum)

Does anyone have a comment on this? It is reposted from a Zogby forum post.

The Washington Redskins Football team has an amazing 70 year track record of predicting the winner of the Presidential election. They have correctly predicted the outcome of EVERY presidential election since Roosevelt's beginning in 1936.

If the Washington Redskins WIN the game that occurs immediately prior to the election then the incumbent (or the incumbent's party if the president doesn't run again i.e., Roosevelt, Truman)retains the White House.

However, if the Washington Redskins LOSE this game the challenger wins the White House.

Just moments ago the Washington Redskins LOST to the Greenbay Packers 28-14.

Their 70 year history of correctly predicting the next President of the United States predicts:

JOHN KERRY IS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!!!!!

1. I wish Zogby....
..would put out some polling numbers that match all his enthusiasm that our next President will be John Forbes Kerry!

He keeps insisting it will happen on all the shows.. But his poll numbers don't seem to be budging one way or another.

I know.. I know... polls don't count..

3. This type of predictor may have some validity
This type of predictor may have some validity.

It could be that the team decided or realized in their unconscious minds who is going to win the election. I once read a study that said that is perhaps why many of these types of predictions come true.

5. There may be something to that
especially in the minds of undecideds. Subconsciously if one is undecided and hears the Redskins story they suddenly find themselves liking Kerry. Never underestimate the power of persuasion.

6. Friday Keith Olbermann had a great section on the history and accuracy
of this last Friday...Skins Win, Incumbent Stays In, Skins Lose, Incumbents Old News!

Dates as far back as 1936?

I don't do sports(!), and this year it was the Red Sox, and now the Red Skins...

2 for 2 for Kerry.

Who said: John Kerry won't be President until The Boston Red Sox win?
