Washington loss = incumbent loss for 60 years

I'm not superstitious enough to believe in a god, but this is a fun superstition.

Why move these obviously election related posts to the lounge?

2. Because they reveal
absolute vapidity. This election is NOT a sports event. Billions of lives will be affected by the outcome, INCLUDING YOURS.

4. Good luck. Some overly zealous mod has conscientiously removed
every single Skins-Packers thread, even though they are without question couched in terms of the 2004 election.

5. This is an example of one of the many aspects of politics...

we are not good at. You know if they (Redskins) had won it would be trumpeted from Drudge to Hannity from Rush to Fox. But some of us can't take a positive election angle and spin it into the fat pompous faces of the conservatives. We follow rules and logic and tight assed arrogance about what is important and discard that which is not (in our learned opinion).

We are getting better as a group of adopting the some of the tactics of the right but we must get better if we want to continue to win. They never give up. Use any percieved benefit to their advantage and act in unison. We argue about relevance and ridiculousness of superstition.

All in all it is just a fun and superficial way to celebrate our hopes and dreams for a win. It doesn't hurt anyone and it may be as good or better a predictor than the numerous bullshit polls we discuss ad nauseum here.

Packers win, Bush loses. It should be our meme for the day.

KERRY IN A LANDSLIDE, BABY!
