AZ Republic Poll: Who do you plan to vote for on Tuesday?
Already 59.23% to Kerry, 39% to Bush! I hope this is accurate! In Arizona? Wow! :bounce:

Scroll down. Poll on left.

1. I hate to break this to you, but . . . .
There is no Santa Claus.

There is no Easter bunny.

There is no Tooth fairy.

And online polls are inherently unscientific and, ergo, inaccurate.

5. But, Virginia, this online poll always leans HEAVILY Republican. It's
a Republican Newspaper. They endorsed Bush. So, while I understand online polls are not even close to being scientific, this is a real break in the trend in the polls in this paper over the last three years.

So, maybe there is a Santa Claus, after all.

Clinton won here once and we now have a Democrat for a governor. Don't be so pessimistic!

7. Were you here when we had the Phoenix Gazette?
It was published by the same company as the Arizona Republic, but leaned to the left a little. I wonder if we'll ever get another paper like that?

2. i beg to differ...... we have a real shot at winning AZ
STATE TOTALS of registered voters as of 10/25/2004

Ind 655,554

Dems 914,264

Libertarian 18,261

Repubs 1,055,252

total 2,643,331

http://www.azsos.gov/election/Active_Voter_Count.pdf

According to Zogby's poll on Oct. 21:

Mr. Bush holds a small lead among men, while Mr. Kerry holds an unusually small edge among women. A bright spot for Mr. Kerry here – he leads among independents by a 62% to 31% margin.

so let's do the math shall we?

Bush gets Repubs + Libertarians + 1/3 of Indies = 1,292,031 48.87%

Kerry gets Dems + 2/3 of Indies = 1,351,300 51.12%

we win by a comfortable 2.25% margin

3. Oh how I'd love to see that
I think we have a real shot at winning Nevada too.

Gore states + Arizona + Nevada = Kerry win

Gore states + OH = Kerry win

Gore states + FL = Kerry win

Gore states + Arizona + Nevada + Ohio + Florida = Big time party at my place! ;)
