Breathe deeply and relax. Kerry will win.
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 04:35 PM by PSU84
Bush needed to break 50% in the major polls by this weekend. He hasn't done that. Recent polls from Minnesota, Iowa, and New Hampshire are very positive for Kerry - leading in all 3, only Iowa within the MOE.

Kerry is going to win this election. Bush will be gone. Life will begin to return to normal. The rule of law will be restored. The Constitution will be preserved, protected, and defended.

John Ashcroft will live out the remainder of his life in obscurity and ignominy.

Dick Cheney will demand to know why the Devil didn't keep his bargain.

George W. Bush will take up drinking again and end his days begging strangers for quarters outside Union Station.

Our long national nightmare is almost over.

1. You're right
But there's still lots of work to do. It's not clear that Congress is going to be ours. And Bush has left so much Bushit to clean up.

The tide is turning. Hope is ours again. But this is a long way from being over.

2. We are leading in Iowa
from the early voting and will continue to do so. People forget that Iowa is what gave Kerry his first bounce - they'll come home in the end - * hasn't been good to them at all. They're pretty smart out there - we Easterners don't give them enough credit.

8. God willing,
you are right.

If I may, here's some more predictions:

America takes Kerry's promise of energy independence and there is a breakthrough that benefits the entire world.

Kerry is able to start a real peace process in Israel/Palestine. With the help of Her Majesty, Queen Noor, he is able to rally moderate Muslims around the world to work with the West for peace.

This American is glad to pay a little extra in taxes because she knows that Kerry is working on balancing the budget and saving my social security. And for the first time this century, I can afford health insurance!

12. The beauty is...
Not only will the world see that Americans have reputiated this obscene, bullying administration - but they will also see that there is a record turnout of citizens to do so.

They will realize that we are not crazy after all (well, not most of us, anyhow).

13. GWB probably won't be begging for quarters because..
...our tax dollars will be paying for his booze up until the day he dies - and the fancy crystal he'll be sucking it out of.

But I bet he returns to drinking. He'll probably have to get a few more new driver's licenses. Hehee.

Take it from an old-time Red Sox fan whose dream has just been realized, change is in the air, it won't be easy, but it all starts with the word
BELIEVE

15. And then Chimpy and Co., Inc. will stand trial for war crimes.
Some may escape punishment by way of the insanity defense, and those wingnuts will be committed to the Ronald Reagan Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

I'm salivating with anticipation......
