Kerry was really great. Basically he talked about how only he as a plan for the immigrants who have already been here a long time and worked hard and kept out of trouble. He also pointed out that Bush has no such plan. Of course he also pointed out job loss and how the jobs that are created are not nearly as well paying as the jobs that are lost. When it was Bush's interview, he of course turned every issue into terrorism and an "ownership society". I think he threw a few "no child left behind's in" But when asked about the earned legalization program that Kerry has and he doesn't have he turned the subject back to terrorism and September 11 and how we have to be careful. I don't think hispanics like to be compared to terrorists. Prior to each interview, they also ran a short lead biography of each candidate. The Kerry one was very moving and the Bush one? Well...what can they say, right?
Anyway, Bush tried some of his Spanish out...TERRIBLE. It's not pronounced "Grassy-ass".
