I was think of buying some umbrellas are ponchos and handing them out at my local precinct. I figure I might be able to find some cheap ones at Big Lots or something. Maybe spray paint them with neon so they are not worth stealing.

3. be careful...
Remember they wanted to throw Michael Moore in jail for promising clean underwear and ramen noodles. :eyes:

Better check with your local Dem office to make sure it won't cause problems.

4. just a suggestion!
It might be more cost effective to buy some of those large leaf/garbage bags and cut hole for head & arms. We used to do that when stuck on line or tailgating, beat paying more $$$ for those el-cheapo ponchos at the stadium.

5. it's gorgeous in the midwest, shouldn't Ohio get our weather by Tuesday?
A front passed thru here yesterday bringing clouds, wind and rain, yet today is nothing but clear and calm skies. This looks like it's going to last.

Even if it does rain, I've voted on rainy election days and doubt it altered the outcome. Bush supporters not particularly thrilled with the direction of our country are probably more likely to stay home in the rain that juiced up Democrats are, IMO.
