Damn. I thought they had some BIG thing to dump onto Kerry today.... the little freepers were "wetting their pants" (as they often do) over this supposed 'other than honorable discharge', and a Former Secretary of the Navy, that was going to knock Kerry out of the race.

There is no way he could have had a former Secretary of the Navy who gave Kerry a less than honorable discharge. There are two possible former Sec. of the Navy who could've done it. One is dead. The other is a sitting Senator from VA and would have gone public with it LONG AGO!.

It was really a stupid claim. "Other than honorable" discharges are official and thus a matter of public record. That would have followed Kerry his entire career if it had been true. Or, it would have been a massive conspiracy that had been working since the 70's that no one had been able to uncover, not even Nixon.

I tend to agree with others that this was a reverse psy-op type thing, getting the Freeps would can't think independently (redundant) to wet themselves in anticipation and come off looking like the morans(tm) they are.

The latest attack against John Kerry, our next President and they are really getting nasty.He received a dishonorable discharge but President Carter overturned it!

Please note the Date of 1978.

Karl Rove had seen that date and ran with it to his Swift Boat sailors and Vietnam Veterans against Kerry.

John Kerry, a student at Yale University applied for an open slot in the Naval Reserves., after completing his Officer Training, something Bush never did, he was commissioned an Ensign in the Naval reserve. He then Volunteered for active duty in the regular Navy.

He did two tours in Vietnam and upon returning to the states he received an Honorable Discharge from the REGULAR Navy it was back to the Naval reserves for Kerry. 1978 he submitted his request for resignation from the Naval Reserve, his requested was granted with thanks from both the Commander of the personnel center and the Secretary of the Navy!

I know it is late in the campaign but I could not let this horrendous lie stand!

11. Watergate burglar G Gordon Liddy was only 'pundit' to bring it up this wk!

On all of the political talk shows I have watched this past week, only one had someone who mentioned the honorable discharge issue and it was Watergate burglar G Gordon Liddy which I thought was pretty funny considering that it was Watergate criminals Chuck Colson and Nixon who enlisted John Oneill to begin smearing Kerry over 30 years ago too!

Liddy was totally ignored though and drowned out when other guest and moderator immediately talked about other stuff so he couldn't make a point whatsoever to viewers.
