Granted the news of all stripes has been right-leaning for the past 3 1/2 years but IMO it's because they knew where their bread was buttered, not because they (aside from Faux) had a specific agenda to push.

The chest pounding and teeth gnashing, and tossing of epithets such as 'puke whore' and others which insinuate that Matthews wants to suck Bush's dick, etc HERE ON DU ... are the wailings of a 'victim complex' just the same as the Freeps.

and I know I'm in the minority, but to me these reactions demontrate that the MSM is actually not as biased as either side claims. I'm not particularly fond of any of these talking heads, but I just can't get as righteously indignant as so many folks do.

11. I think it is more laziness

and the time restraints of having to be on the air daily than an actual right wing bias. My biggest gripe is that right wing Republicans come on the cable news shows and spout the most outrageous lies and the anchors never call them on it. As a whole the news media seems to question the Democrats but give the Right Wing a free pass. The reason conservatives complain about a left wing bias in the press is because they think it is improper for any opinion but their own to be heard. They whine loudly and the press bends over back wards to appease them. I believe the press is more spineless then biased.

This reminds me of the old "if both parties are unhappy with the settlement, it must be fair" canard that I used to hear when I practiced divorce law. That reasoning only works when you have two parties with reasonable expectations. Say the husband ends up with 80% of the assets and the wife ends up with 20%. Both are unhappy.
The wife is unhappy b/c she justifiably believes that she is entitled to a more equitable share and the husband is upset b/c he (irrationally) believes he is entitled to EVERYTHING.

Republicans believe they are entitled to everything.
