"Anything that makes people nervous" is good for Bush
This shows just how bankrupt of morality and hope the Bush campaign truly is. They are depending on people to be terrified for their personal safety. I guess now they can only hope that OBL actually attacks on Monday.

http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/247753p-212149c.html

"We want people to think 'terrorism' for the last four days," said a Bush-Cheney campaign official. "And anything that raises the issue in people's minds is good for us."

A senior GOP strategist added, "anything that makes people nervous about their personal safety helps Bush."

He called it "a little gift," saying it helps the President but doesn't guarantee his reelection.

1. That's right
Terrorism and fear are Chimp's greatest allies. It's what boosted his approval ratings after 9/11, and what continued to lift them with each new "alert" for three years.

I can't wait until successful strategy and HOPE becomes the modus operandi, rather than FEAR.

I can't wait for Osama to stop handing the Chimp one success after another, and vice-versa.

3. I have already fired off several LTTEs on this. It needs to be hit, HARD.
John McCain called the Osama tape "very helpful to the President"

This strategist calls it a "gift"

Is it a "helpful gift" that the killer of 3,000 Americans is still at large? Is Bush "concerned" about Osama again, now that he can use him as a campaign prop?

I suggest contacting all media outlets ASAP on this.

5. I hope Kerry comes back with an inspiring message.
Something like, "We will conquer our fears with courage, resolve, and belief in our democracy and our people."

He has to address the fact that people ARE afraid, and then help them get over their fear.
